Spellings - revise every night (fist, best, fancy, prince, ice, dance, city, pencil, child, children) extra spellings - science, lace, cylinder, circle
(I have given children a sheet to help them revise their spellings by writing out the words. They do not have to use this sheet but it might be useful for some children.)
Read, discuss, understand and use words - prefab, site, construction, building, location
Sentences - put 10 spellings into 'super sentences' in the homework copy by Friday (please make sure page is ruled with red pen and ruler, date and title are written at the top of the page and numbers are written in the margin)
English sheets - capital letters and plurals (finish for Friday)
Reading - read the piece of reading with your child and ask them the questions to ensure they have understood what they read **NB** I have given some children books to read for homework. They should do 5-10 minutes of reading each night and I will change the book when they've finished.
Tables Champion - please complete every night
Maths worksheets - data (finish for Friday)
Tables - +7 tables
Gaeilge spellings - cóta (coat) lón (lunch) bróg (shoe)
Children might have some extra reading from literacy 'power hour'
